March 17, 2006, Newsletter Issue #38: Visually Proof It!

Tip of the Week

After you have spell checked your cover letter, proof it. Look at each word as a unit. See each letter of each word. Don’t skim it. After you’ve proofed your letter visually, have someone else do it. When you are 100% sure that there are no typos in your letter, then you are ready to personalize and print (or email) each one.
